Bilbao Exhibition Centre, also known as BEC, opened its doors in 2004. Being situated next to a metro station and within a 15-minute drive of Bilbao-Abando Station and Bilbao Airport, BEC is convenient for visiting from Spain and abroad by numerous means of transportation.

The venue has open areas (including gardens) of 100,000 sq metres and offers 150,000 sq metres of exhibition space. BEC Bilbao Exhibition Centre's six column-free halls accommodate medium-sized and large events. The BIEMH expo is among the international trade shows held in BEC.
