Established in 1905 with His Majesty's Balloon Factory, Farnborough Airfield is the first airfield in the British aviation history. It also witnesses the United Kingdom's first powered flight in 1908. Since 1948 the airport is home to the famous Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), held here once in two years. Each edition is visited by over 100,000 people.

Farnborough Airfield covers an area of 310 hectares. The venue is easily accessible and well connected to London by car, bus and rail. It is in the vicinity of four stations – Farnborough Main, North Camp, Farnborough North and Aldershot.

By Rail
